A set of six lino prints inspired by stories of London. 

The Tower of London houses six ravens at all times following the myth that if they ever were to leave the tower, the British kingdom would fall.  

Each print represents the true story of a Raven that is or has been in the service of the Tower over the years. 

They were also developed and packaged to be marketable products as souvenir mobiles as part of a project during my MA.

 A burger joint based in Saudia Arabia, the job entailed creating the company's identity, from the creation of the name to the visual language and branding. This meant creating the packaging, tableware, and even interior wall graphics. 

By applying a distinct typographic treatment, a unique visual set it apart from other burger joints in the market.

A famous makeup artist in the region, Bassam Fattouh approached us to update and rebrand his makeup line, with the brief of giving his products a more appealing and marketable image. 

Sourcing an illustration that encompassed the beauty of the Arab Woman, we used it as inspiration to create a delicate and feminine line that reflected the brief of our client. 

The identity was created to be able to also include different product lines, and be versatile enough to embrace the expansion of the brand without losing its visual identity. 

Working on this project gave me the opportunity to visit a make up convention in Paris, and have direct contact with the production of make up products and packaging, an experience that has definitely widened my scope of knowledge.

Cello is a fusion restaurant in the Hamra district of Beirut. The brief was to create a strong, modern design. Drawing on the shape and form of the bass clef from a musical score, I created the logo as patterns that were applied throughout the branding. This included custom-made lampshades, bathroom ceilings and the restaurant's major feature, a ceiling to bar mirror. Table talkers, the advertising notices placed upon tables, were routinely refreshed to highlight new offers and special events.

Mamnoon, a Middle Eastern restaurant based in Seattle. Its regional dishes are served in a modern and innovative context. We oversaw the creation of the brand, from name to logo, to complete visual identity.

Brave Heart Fund asked us to create a new logo for their foundation. These designs were among the final contenders.

The Brave Heart Fund is a local charity which raises awareness about heart disease among children.

Ayyame, based in Kuwait, is a Middle Eastern restaurant with an avant garde approach to combining regional cuisine with strong cultural and visual references. 

Sourcing elements and items from the local markets and producers, we insured an authenticity that followed through the different elements of the design concept, successfully placing Ayyame as a leading brand in modern Middle Eastern hospitality.

One of the 2014 Creative Briefs put forward by the Young Creative Network in the UK, was to create a new conversational print for Cath Kidston.

I chose to look at nostalgia as a theme,  reflected in the love of all things vintage and old-fashioned. Childhood is a time we tend to look back on fondly, and a subject that combines these concepts was the traditional fun fair .

I went further, depicting how this print could be applied on different products that Cath Kidston offers. 

Graphics created for the debut album of the local Lebanese band, Lazzy Lung. 

This also included a custom illustration of the band members that ultimately was used on their promotional material.

LAAF is an annual festival that celebrates the arts and culture of the region. Bright colours and Arabic letter forms were a fitting base for the visuals created, taking advantage of the shapes and curves of the typography to create eye-catching and memorable images.

The logo was created for a local conservation and artisanal centre in the Lebanese mountains. The design features olives, symbolising the olive groves that are planted across the centre's plot.  Due to a later change of name, the center has since been rebranded.

See You In Beirut, Whatever Happens was my MA project at Kingston University. The project originated as a result of my interest in lettering Arabic text in a Westernised manner and far from the constraints of traditional Arabic calligraphy.

The vessel for the lettering took the form of mock vintage travel posters of Beirut and Lebanon, mainly targeting the expatriate Lebanese community. The posters are meant to serve as a reminder of the place they called home, bringing nostalgic elements that hold cultural meaning. 

This project comprised of branding for a gastro pub in Hamra, Beirut. Basing its concept on the scientific side of mixology, and adopting Einstein as a mascot, the identity final touched on the scientific method and featured equations and diagrams, along with informational graphics.

Illustrations created as part of the I Once Heard series, a collection of stories written by myself on my personal blog. 

All the imagery was created within the same ratios and with the same style constrictions.

Illustrations created for Najla Hmedeh's children's book, comprised of three short stories. Each story was illustrated in a different technique to seperate them from one another and to create visual variety for the reader.

Scraper board illustrations created as part of the "True Stories: 1 Page - No Words" workshop held by Titus Ackerman in Beirut.
